Goh adds new partner and director

Colombian law firm Godoy Hoyos has announced the appointment of Antonio José Núñez Trujillo as a new partner in the Corporate, Finance and Business Law practice area, as well as Claudia Patricia Barrantes Venegas, new associate director of the Administrative Law and Infrastructure department.

Antonio Núñez (pictured right) holds Master’s degrees in Law from Harvard University and Business Administration from Insead. He has served as legal vice-president of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, legal vice-president and compliance officer of Citibank and manager of strategy and business architecture at Accenture in London, in addition to having practised at his own firm and other prestigious law firms. He has extensive experience in arbitration in important centres in the country, as well as having worked in public service in entities such as the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, Bancoldex and, most recently, as Deputy Attorney General of the Nation.

Claudia Barrantes has been an assistant magistrate of the Council of State, legal director of important companies in the sector such as Sacyr and professor of administrative law and state contracting at the University of Rosario, as well as arbitrator at the Arbitration and Conciliation Centre of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá.

Thanks to these additions, the firm’s Litigation team will now integrate all areas of dispute resolution, under the joint leadership of Catalina Hoyos (pictured centre, right), Claudia Barrantes and Antonio Núñez.
