Gómez-Pinzón appoints Mauricio Montealegre as partner of the firm
Gómez-Pinzón has announced the appointment of Mauricio Montealegre (pictured) as the firm’s new partner to strengthen the firm’s labour law practice.
Mauricio, who joined Gómez-Pinzón in 2018 and assumed the role of head of the Employment Law Practice Group in 2021, has more than 16 years of experience in corporate employment law.
During his career, he has excelled in advising national and international companies by actively participating in complex corporate transactions, contributing to create practical labour solutions for the dynamic world of mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he is an expert on issues such as labour dispute resolution, the design of integration strategies and the implementation of remuneration schemes. He has led audit and due diligence processes, negotiations with unions, senior executives and management of voluntary retirement plans.
With this appointment, the firm will have a total of 24 partners.
