GP advises KKR on telecom towers acquisition from Tigo

Gómez-Pinzón has advised KKR on the acquisition of approximately 1,100 telecommunication towers from Tigo Colombia, a subsidiary of Milicom, through a sale and purchase agreement on behalf of its Global Infrastructure Investors IV subsidiary.

KKR is making this investment through its KKR Global Infrastructure Investors IV fund, supported by NEXO LatAm, a digital infrastructure platform supporting the implementation of KKR’s infrastructure strategy throughout Latin America. Simpson Thacher acted as international counsel to KKR.
