Greenberg Traurig recruits two partners from DLA Piper
Greenberg Traurig announced the addition of Manuel Rajunov and Dania Duncan as partners in the Latin American and Iberian Practice. Both lawyers were previously partners at DLA Piper.
In addition to their tax, real estate, and corporate experience, both Rajunov and Duncan have experience in Latin America and strong connections to clients in the region. As in their previous law firm, the partners will split their time between the Dallas and Mexico City offices of Greenberg Traurig.
Rajunov focuses on tax consulting and transactional advice to foreign investors doing business in Mexico, as well as advising Mexican investors on their investments overseas. Additionally, Rajunov has a strong focus on the real estate development, finance, private wealth, manufacturing and distribution, retail, technology, gaming, hospitality, and housing sectors and industries.
Duncan has significant experience in commercial, industrial, and residential real estate matters, including development and acquisitions, structured finance, and corporate matters.
Yosbel Ibarra, shareholder and co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Latin American and Iberian Practice, added, “With Manuel and Dania, we continue to strengthen the capabilities of our Latin American and Iberian Practice, reflecting the same commitment to excellence in Latin America that Greenberg Traurig has maintained since the firm’s founding.”
