Gross Brown counsels on $100m financing for AFD Paraguay
Gross Brown has counselled Citibank, Commerzbank AG and Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) on a US$100,000,000 financing in favour of Agencia Financiera de Desarrollo Paraguay (AFD Paraguay), a state-owned entity of the Republic of Paraguay.
This transaction marks the first financing categorised as social by Citibank, which is also part of its global Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) financing objective.
Clifford Chance jointly advised on the transaction under New York law.
