GT Law advises Holiday Inn Club Vacations on acquisition of 4 beach properties in Mexico

Greenberg Traurig has advised Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated on the acquisition of four beachfront properties in Mexico from Royal Resorts, marking its first expansion outside the United States.

The acquisition, in addition to including most of Royal Resorts’ related businesses and corporate operations, collectively adds more than 850 villas to Holiday Inn Club Vacations’ growing portfolio of destination resorts. The acquired properties consist of the 17-acre Royal Sands in Cancun; the seven-acre Royal Cancun on the north shore of Cancun; the 23-acre Royal Haciendas in the Riviera Maya; and the 13-acre Grand Residences by Royal Resorts in Puerto Morelos.
