PHR assists PTI in modifying five lines of credit
Posse Herrera Ruiz has assisted Phoenix Tower International (PTI), a provider of wireless communications infrastructure, in the amendment and restructuring of five senior secured credit facilities.
The transaction, which closed in August 2022, consolidated several credit facilities extended to PTI by multiple banks into a single senior secured transaction in the amount of USD $2,000,000,000, which linked the North and South American subsidiaries.
The financing also included the prepayment of a loan granted under previous refinancings to Phoenix Tower International Colombia and the modification of local collateral.
Brigard Urrutia advised the lenders through a team led by partner María Fernanda Diago and lawyers Hui Min Zheng Zheng and Antonio Garlatti-Venturini.
