GT Law promotes two shareholders in Mexico real estate practice

Greenberg Traurig has announced the promotion of Roberto Guerrero Comella and Julio Antonio Sardina Pla to shareholders in the firm’s Mexico City office’s real estate practice.

Roberto (pictured left), who joined the firm in 2018, focuses his practice on transactions related to the development, structuring and financing of real estate projects in the industrial, commercial and tourism sectors, including mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law transactions. He holds a law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a Fundamentals of Business Law certificate from New York University.

Julio Antonio (pictured right) has been with GT Law since 2018, and focuses his practice on cross-border real estate matters between the United States and Mexico, with an emphasis on the legal aspects of structuring and financing general corporate projects, mergers and acquisitions, as well as tourism, residential, commercial and industrial development projects. He holds a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, a certificate in Real Estate Law and U.S. Law from New York University and a certificate in Introduction to the U.S. Legal System from Whittier Law School.

With these promotions, the office now has 26 shareholders (partners), two counsels and more than 80 professionals.
