Guerrero Olivos assists Banco Consorcio in credit facility to Chilean private equity firm

Law firm Guerrero Olivos assisted Chile’s Banco Consorio in a $39 million credit line granted to local private investment firm Tanner Asset Management for the acquisition of part of the assets owned by Chilean financial services company Créditos, Organización y Finanzas. 

US dollarsThis is the third operation of this kind structured and implemented by Guerrero Olivos’ banking and finance department and the first one with Banco Consorcio, the law firm said in a statement.
 
“As experts in this field, we were able to identify the risks of the operation and were able to execute the agreements in a timely and efficient manner,” it added.
 
Guerrero Olivos’ leading senior counsel was Miguel Coddou, assisted by associate Tomás Montes.

Tanner Asset Management was advised by Ried/Fabres, while Créditos, Organización y Finanzas was counseled by partner Juan Pablo Bórquez at Bórquez Yunge.
