GVBG adds a new tax partner
GVBG Advogados has appointed Patricia Elizabeth Woodhead as a partner in its Tax practice. The move brings to the firm a tax attorney with more than 15 years of experience handling administrative and judicial proceedings involving federal, state, and municipal taxes in Brazil.
Patricia holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a specialization in Tax Law from the same institution (COGEAE). Her academic background also includes international programs at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in Advanced Negotiation and Mediation, and Corporate Law and Governance.
Throughout her career, Patricia has developed particular expertise in defining and executing litigation strategies, as well as providing specialized support in due diligence procedures in connection with M&A, special situations, and legal claims transactions.
Her appointment into the leadership team reinforces the firm’s approach of combining technical rigor with a business-oriented vision aimed at mitigating risks and generating tailored value for clients.
