HD appoints Rebeca Zamora as new partner
Chilean law firm HD Legal (Honorato Delaveau) has announced the promotion of Rebeca Zamora Picciani (pictured) as a new partner to strengthen its compliance and criminal practice.
“Today our clients value and appreciate that we have effective and comprehensive ESG policies, which have been led by Rebeca and her team,” says HD Group managing partner Sebastián Delpiano.
Rebeca joined HD in 2019. She is a lawyer from the University of Chile, with diplomas in Compliance and Tax Planning.
She has extensive experience in advising legal entities in the design and implementation of effective compliance programmes, as well as in corruption, financial crimes, antitrust offences, tax offences, consumer infringements, data protection, non-compliance in labour matters, environmental risk and criminal litigation.
Previously, she worked as an associate in the Criminal Department of Claro & Cía, and as head of the Compliance and Criminal Law Department of Morales & Besa, where she was also in charge of Crime Prevention for different companies.
She is a member of the World Compliance Association and the Chilean Bar Association. She is currently a Professor of Criminal Law at the Universidad Central and Universidad Gabriela Mistral. She also directs the Diploma in Compliance and Corporate Integrity at the Andrés Bello University.
