The lawyer Dr. Hermano de Villemor Amaral (son) turned 102 years old today, on July 11. With the milestone, he becomes one of the longest-lived Brazilian lawyers today.
Son of the founder of Villemor Amaral Advogados, considered one of the longest active law firms in the country, Dr. Hermano de Villemor Amaral (son) has a career of almost eight decades, in which he has dedicated himself to the practice of law in the areas of Commercial, Corporate, Tax, Real Estate, and Foreign Investments in Brazil.
His life story and contribution to the Brazilian Law is narrated in the book “Continuamos… History of Villemor Amaral Advogados Law Firm”, released in 2015. In the pages of the book, it is possible to know a little more about the young Hermano, who used to attend the office as a teenager and, at the age of sixteen to seventeen, already knew which desk he would occupy in the future.
