Kincaid Mendes Vianna Advogados announced that partner Godofredo Mendes Vianna (pictured) was appointed president of the Maritime, Port and Maritime Law Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association/RJ Section for another three-year term.
According to the lawyer, this is another important phase. “We will have great challenges ahead for the sector, including the implementation of the new regulatory regime for cabotage (BR DO MAR), the privatization of the Dock Companies, the revision of the National Maritime Policy, and the adoption of the ESG standards in the maritime and port sectors”, he highlights.
