KLA advises Harmonic on acquisition of Int6

KLA has advised Harmonic, a provider of virtualized broadband and network infrastructure solutions, on the acquisition of Int6, a Brazilian technology company specialized in automation and management platforms for fiber-optic networks used by internet service providers and telecommunications operators.

Harmonic, headquartered in California, provides virtualized broadband solutions to operators and internet service providers worldwide. Int6, founded in 2016 in Porto Alegre, develops automation and virtualization solutions for fiber-optic networks used by Brazilian ISPs and telecom operators.

The transaction is expected to strengthen Harmonic’s position in the Latin American broadband market and expand its software portfolio for network service providers.

KLA relied on Karin Alvo and Laura Cossi, both partners in the Corporate and M&A practice at KLA, with support from associates Carlos Souto and Isabel Jimenez.

The seller was advised by MBZ Advogados, with the deal team composed of Pedro Deos and Letícia Borges.
