Larrain represents Santander Chile in financing for Solarity
Larrain y Asociados has represented Banco Santander-Chile in the structuring, negotiation, documentation and closing of an additional bilateral financing to Solarity, an entity linked to Brookfield Asset Management, for an amount of US$25,000,000.
The funds will be used to finance investments in non-conventional energy solutions (solar) for “behind-the-meter” customers.
The transaction, closed on 22 May, involves a cumulative financing agreement by Banco Santander-Chile of up to US$50,000,000 for Solarity, in the context of its commitment to the transition to a green economy.
Carla Diban acted as in-house lawyer for Solarity.
