Larrain y Asociados counsels Asmin on its sale to AHK

Larrain y Asociados has advised Asmin Industrial on the sale of its company to Alfred H Knight

 Larrain y Asociados has counselled the controlling shareholders of Asmin Industrial in the structuring, due diligence and sale of the company to the British transnational Alfred H Knight (AHK).

This transaction was closed on 31 March, and was carried out under Chilean and UK jurisdictions. Albagli Zaliasnik acted as legal advisor to AHK.

Larrain y Asociados has advised Asmin and its controllers since its foundation 20 years ago, and participated in its growth and expansion process, until its final sale to a strategic investor such as AHK.

Asmin is a leading metallurgical process consulting company, providing metallurgical, chemical, mineralogical and pilot scale plant and metallurgical laboratory services.

Alfred H Knight is an independent global provider of inspection, analytical and technical consulting services to the metals, minerals and solid fuels industries, as well as offering production analysis, physical testing and sample preparation. AHK has a presence in more than 35 countries, including Chile, operating in mining sites, loading and unloading ports, warehouses, refineries, smelters, recycling plants and others. The group was established in 1881 and is headquartered in the UK.
