Lawyer shot dead near OAB/RJ headquarters
On Monday (February 26), lawyer and partner Rodrigo Marinho Crespo (pictured), 42, was shot dead in front of the Marinho & Lima Advogados office, which is just a few meters from the OAB headquarters.
A member of the Institute since November 2011, he was a member of the Civil Procedural Law Commission. The national president of the IAB, Sydney Limeira Sanches, lamented the violent death of the lawyer, expressed his solidarity with the family and asked the authorities to speed up the investigation of the crime.
Rodrigo was a founding partner of Marinho & Lima Advogados and had experience in Corporate Civil Law with an emphasis on Contracts and Civil Procedural Law. He graduated in 2005 from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ) and did post-graduate studies in Corporate Civil Law at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
