Toledo Marchetti Advogados assisted Toda Investimentos, a Japanese multinational in the urban development sector with 140 years of history, in negotiating the purchase and sale agreement for the acquisition of its second wind farm in Brazil, which is an integral part of the Serra Branca Cluster developed by the French generator Voltalia, which was advised by Dias Carneiro Advogados.
The project is located in the municipality of Areia Branca in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.
The venture involves the installation of 15 wind turbines, with the capacity to generate 88.5 megawatts (MW) of energy. Construction is scheduled to begin in the first semester of 2024, with completion expected in the first quarter of 2025. The Japanese company is also negotiating an agreement for the provision of construction, operation, and maintenance services for the new park.
