Lefosse assisted Vitreo Gestão de Recursos, a subsidiary of the Brazilian financial group BTG Pactual, in the structuring and offering of quotas of the Empiricus Teva Criptomoedas Top20 Fundo de Índice Investimento no Exterior, an exchange-traded investment fund regulated by CVM Rule No. 359, which is traded in the Brazilian stock exchange – B3.
This is the first ETF fund launched by Vitreo, which is also the first Brazilian crypto ETF with an index developed and maintained by a local service provider – Teva Índices. The initial offering raised around R$70 million of seed money with Vitreo’s institutional investors.
The project involved structuring and regulatory advice, fundraising matters, negotiation of the index and the Fund’s documents, as well as assistance with the public offering of the Fund’s quotas.
Lefosse relied on partners André Mileski (pictured left) and Gustavo Paes (pictured right), associate Vinicius Braschi and legal assistant Rodrigo Paixão.
