Mattos Filho Advogados advised Cencosud Brasil Comercial on the acquisition of 100% of AFN Participações and Giga BR Distribuidor e Atacadista wich was advised by Cescon Barrieu Advogados.
The transaction value was R$ 500 milions and the closing of the is subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions precedent, including the approval of the transaction by CADE.
AFN Participações is a holding company and GIGA BR Distribuidor e Atacadista is a limited liability company which operates in wholesale and retail trade, e-commerce and in the import and distribution of goods in the “wholeretail” sector
