Lobo de Rizzo promotes seven to partnership

Lobo de Rizzo has elevated seven senior lawyers to its partnership, the São Paulo firm. The promotions span four practice areas and bring the firm’s total partnership to 50, with six of the seven newly appointed partners being women.

In the Tax practice, Arthur Nogueira, Caroline Junqueira Jones, and Renata Hollanda join the partnership. In Labor and Employment, Marina Camargo Aranha is promoted. Finance and Capital Markets gains two new partners in Beatriz Rocha and Marília do Valle Farias. The Due Diligence practice, described by the firm as already well established internally, now has a dedicated partner in Carla Felix.

The Tax promotions come at a pivotal moment for the field, as Brazil’s ongoing Tax Reform introduces a structural overhaul of the country’s tax system, requiring companies to review operational chains, pricing models, and contractual structures. In Labor, the promotions coincide with heightened legal debate over working arrangements, including discussions around a proposed constitutional amendment on the 6×1 work schedule and the use of independent contractors — a practice known as “pejotização” — and its treatment before higher courts. In Finance and Capital Markets, the growing diversification of capital sources and increasingly complex financial structures have driven demand for specialized legal advisory. The Due Diligence practice, which the firm describes as a pioneer in the adoption of technological solutions in M&A transactions, is set to expand its expertise to regulatory, real estate, and capital markets matters.
