Machado Meyer act in financing to CSN Mineração
Machado Meyer acted as Brazilian legal advisor to Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), BNP Paribas (Acting For Its Tokyo Branch), Citibank,, Tokyo Branch, Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, Tokyo Branch, JPMorgan Chase Bank, Tokyo Branch, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited, New York Branch and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in the context of negotiating a financing agreement in the export prepayment modality in the total amount of up to US$ 1.4 billion and a final term of 12 years, which was guaranteed by Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI).
This transaction represents the continuity of CSN Mineração´s strategy of financing its growth using appropriate instruments for long-term projects.
