Machado Meyer advised Parker Hannifin on acquisition on Meggit
Machado Meyer Advogados acted as legal counsel for the buyer in the notification submitted to Cade regarding the acquisition, by Parker-Hannifin Corporation, of sole controle over Meggit PLC .
The transaction combined two highly complementary businesses and presented an opportunity for Parker to grow its aerospace systems segment and have a more balanced aerospace portfolio across cycles given that the parties complement each other across a diverse portfolio of products, systems, capabilities, technologies and customer types.
The transaction therefore generated significant synergies in the aerospace segment.
