Machado Meyer advises Fibrasil on debenture issue
Machado Meyer Advogados has acted as legal counsel of Fibrasil Infraestrutura e Fibra Ótica and Stocche Forbes Advogados advised the underwriters on the 2nd issuance of simple debentures, not convertible into shares, of the unsecured type, in a single series, for public distribution with restricted efforts, by the companies.
The net proceeds obtained by Fibrasil Infraestrutura e Fibra Ótica with the issuance of the debentures, they will be fully used for capital investments made for the development of a fiber optic network implementation project, as well as the respective necessary infrastructure, throughout the Brazilian territory; inorganic growth through strategic acquisitions; and management of operating and financial costs, including but not limited to debt reprofiling purposes of Fibrasil Infraestrutura e Fibra Ótica and its subsidiaries.
The total amount was R$ 315 million.
