Machado Meyer advises FIDC of Pravaler and Banco Itaú BBA

Machado Meyer advised Banco Itaú BBA. The transaction was the structuring and public offering under best efforts placement, pursuant to CVM Rule 476, of 29th and 30th series senior quotas and subordinated quota mezzanine H, issued by Crédito Universitário Fundo de Investimento em Direitos Creditórios (FIDC).

The FIDC was structured by Pravaler and Banco Itaú BBA. The FIDC is managed by Pravaler, with the fiduciary administration of Oliveira Trust Distribuidora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários and, as sellers, financial institutions and educational institutions.

The FIDC’s investment policy is the acquisition of credit rights arising from loan agreements entered into with debtors for student financing of educational services. The public offering included the distribution of quotas by Banco Itaú BBA.

The transaction value was BRL 210 million.
