Machado Meyer advises Marituba debenture issue

Machado Meyer advised the company on the first issue of simple debentures, non convertible into shares, in a single series, of the species with a real guarantee, with additional fiduciary guarantee, for public distribution, with restricted distribution efforts under a firm placement guarantee regime, of Marituba Transmissão de Energia.

The issue was guaranteed in the form of a surety bond provided by Sterlite Brazil Participações, in the total amount of R$ 150 million.

Machado Meyer advised Marituba Transmissão de Energia and Sterlite Brazil Participações and relied on partners Fernanda Cury Messias and Raphael Oliveira Zono, lawyers Marianna Torello Palladino and Rafaela Alencar Gomes.
