Madrona Advogados has Paulo Bento join as a partner in Tax Law
Paulo Bento (pictured) is now a partner in Madrona Advogados. He will be part of the firm’s Tax Law practice area. Throughout his career, Paulo Bento has worked in several M&A projects of large corporations.
Since February 2017, Paulo Bento had been a partner of Insights Investimentos, a Single Family Office, as well as an entrepreneur in a solar energy organization, in Distributed Generation.
Before that, the attorney was a partner and the head of BMA – Barbosa Müssnich Aragão’s Tax practice, between 2012 and 2017; and a partner of Cescon Barrieu, from 2001 to 2012. He also worked as alawyer attorney in the following law firms: Coelho, Ippolito, Padilha & Rivitti; Braga & Marafon; and Machado Meyer.
Paulo Bento is a Law graduate from PUC, where he also specialized in Tax Law and Tax Procedure. He also has an MBA in Corporate Finance from Ibmec (current Insper); a Latin Legum Magister or Master of Law in International Taxation, from Leiden University, the oldest university in the Netherlands.
The attorney also has a history of writing numerous articles for books and magazines, in addition to having been a guest professor and speaker at events in Brazil and abroad, and coordinated and co-authored the book ” Manual de Tributação no Mercado Financeiro” ( Manual of Taxation in the Financial Market, in English), published by Editora Saraiva.
