Madruga BTW announces Sylvia Steiner as reinforcement in the team

Madruga BTW has announced the entrance of Sylvia Steiner (pictured) as a new member of the team. The arrival of the Sylvia is part of the firm’s strategy to expand its practice in International Law, Criminal Law and all areas of Public Law.

Sylvia is a former Judge of the International Criminal Court and the Federal Court of Appeals for the 3rd Region of Brazil, and former Federal Prosecutor. She was part of the first body of judges of the Court, is the only Brazilian and one of the few women to hold a mandate at the Criminal Court in The Hague.

Sylvia is an exponent in defense of the rule of law and limitations on the abuse of power by the State.
