Maneira announces new partners in Brasília and Rio de Janeiro

Maneira Advogados law firm has announced the arrival of two new partners in the branches of Brasília and Rio de Janeiro. Arthur Lavatori (pictured left) is a former director of Oi and arrives to strengthen the Corporate, Contracts and Business Restructuring area in Rio. For the Brasília unit, the new partner for the Tax area will be Flavio Carvalho (pictured right), a lawyer with recognized performance especially in the Superior Courts and Carf.

With over 20 years of experience in the legal areas of large publicly-held companies, Arthur Lavatori has worked as a statutory director in a Dutch subsidiary; in corporate reorganization processes and in some of the largest and most complex recent M&A processes in the country.

Flavio Carvalho has 20 years of experience in tax consulting and litigation, especially in complex litigations before STF, STJ, and Carf. He is also the co-author of articles and books.
