Marcos Martins Advogados announces reinforcements
Marcos Martins Advogados has announced reinforcements to the team with the arrival of Leonardo Ribeiro Dias (pictured left) as the new head of civil litigation and the promotion of Luara Rezende (pictured right) as the new head of labor.
Leonardo Ribeiro Dias has a doctorate and master’s degree in law from the University of São Paulo. The lawyer has more than 17 years of experience in highly complex litigation, restructuring processes, and corporate insolvency, acting in various sectors – including aeronautics, sugar and alcohol, real estate, diagnostics, banking, technology, retail, energy, and investment funds. He is also a professor, lecturer in congresses on Business Law and author of the book “Financing in Judicial Reorganization and Bankruptcy”, besides having published several articles and chapters in specialized books.
His background has allowed him to conquer important spaces as Director of the Brazilian Institute of Business Recovery Studies (IBR) and member of the Banking Law Commission of OAB/SP, of the Brazilian Institute of Business Law – IBRADEMP, and of INSOL International.
Luara Rezende holds a degree in Law from FMU, a post-graduate degree in Labor Law and Procedural Law from Mackenzie, and extensions in Strategic Negotiation, Conflict Management, and Family Business Management from Insper.
Luara has been a member of the firm’s team for 13 years, working in the labor litigation, judicial, administrative, and preventive consulting areas, gaining expertise in the field by representing medium and large companies in various segments, especially in cases of judicial reorganization.
