Martinelli names Krieger new tax partner

Martinelli Advogados has appointed Luís Felipe Krieger M. Bueno as a partner in its Tax practice. The move forms part of a lateral hiring strategy the firm has pursued throughout 2026, aimed at strengthening strategic practice areas and broadening its full-service platform.

Krieger brings more than 25 years of experience in tax and customs law. He joins Martinelli’s Tax practice with expertise in tax advisory, strategic tax litigation, and estate and succession planning. Throughout his career, he has advised Brazilian and international companies on tax matters across sectors including insurance and reinsurance, healthcare, shopping centres, cosmetics, energy, petrochemicals, and oil and gas.

The appointment is part of Martinelli’s growth strategy, which focuses on attracting professionals with established careers in practice areas increasingly critical to clients’ businesses. Krieger’s arrival strengthens the firm’s ability to advise companies in a business environment shaped by the transformation of Brazil’s tax system and the growing demand for solutions that combine tax advisory, litigation and tax risk management.
