Marval advises on Mercado Crédito XXXII issue
Marval O’Farrell Mairal has advised on the issuance of the 32nd series of Mercado Crédito financial trusts, totaling ARS 65,000,111,899. The transaction, which took place on January 23, 2025, is part of the Mercado Crédito Program that securitizes digital loans.
The issuance included trust debt securities amounting to ARS 50,375,086,722 and certificates of participation worth ARS 14,625,025,177.
MercadoLibre SRL served as trustor, administrator, and collection agent, while Banco Patagonia acted as trustee, arranger, and underwriter. Allaria took on the role of sub-underwriter.
Mercado Crédito XXXII’s securitized assets comprise digital consumer and working capital loans granted to users and consumers through electronically signed private instruments. This structure follows the pattern established in previous issuances.
The Argentine Securities Commission authorized the securities for public offering, which are now listed on Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos and Mercado Abierto Electrónico.
