Marval advises on the issuance of trust securities Mercado Crédito XXXIII
Marval O’Farrell Mairal has acted as legal advisor in the issuance of the thirty-third series of trust securities corresponding to the “Mercado Crédito” financial trusts, totaling V/N ARS 70,002,624,527. The transaction involves banking law, finance, and fintech, and securitizes 100% digital loans under the Mercado Crédito Global Trust Securities Program.
The issuance, which took place on February 13, 2025, included trust debt securities for V/N ARS 54,252,034,009 and participation certificates for V/N ARS 15,750,590,518. MercadoLibre, a leading LATAM company, acted as trustee, administrator, and collection agent. Banco Patagonia acted as trustee, arranger, and placement agent, with Allaria serving as sub-placement agent.
The trust assets in Mercado Crédito XXXIII consist of consumer and working capital loans granted 100% digitally to users and consumers via electronic signatures through MercadoLibre’s platform. The National Securities Commission authorized the public offering of these trust securities, which are traded in the Electronic Open Market and listed on Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos.
