Marval represents Loma Negra in first issuance of notes

Marval O’Farrell Mairal has represented Loma Negra Compañía Industrial Argentina in the issuance of its Notes Class 1 for a nominal value of ARS $25,636,250,000 (USD $133,261,858).

The issue was made on February 22, 2023, where the Notes were payable in pesos, at a variable interest rate equivalent to BADLAR plus 2%, maturing on August 22, 2024, under the program of simple negotiable obligations not convertible into shares of the company for up to USD 150,000,000.

The funds will be used by Loma Negra to integrate working capital in the country and to finance the commercial turn of its business. Tavarone Rovelli Salim & Miani (TRSYM) advised the placement agents.

Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires, Banco Santander Argentina, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina), Banco Patagonia, Allaria Ledesma & Cía. and Balanz Capital Valores acted as placement agents.

Loma Negra is a cement production and marketing company in Argentina.

Luciano Babuin, Mikaela Badaracco, Guillermo Braun Vedoya and Diego Jalon acted as in-house legal and financial advisors to Loma Negra.

TRSYM’s team included partners Julieta De Ruggiero and Marcelo Rafael Tavarone, and associates Fiorella Ascenso Sanabria, Eduardo Cano, Agustín Ponti and Sebastián Chiban Zamar.
