Mattos Filho advises Actis on multijurisdictional transaction

Mattos Filho advised Actis on the sale of 100% of its stake in Atlas Renewable Energy to Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), alongside Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP (New York) and local advisors Claro y Cia (Chile), Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes (Mexico) and Ferrere Abogados (Uruguay).

Atlas is the second largest independent renewables developer in Latin America with 14 fully contracted solar assets that produce 2.3GW of installed capacity.

The transaction value was not disclosed.
