Mattos Filho advises on the acquisition of Maersk’s services
A consortium led by ASM Texas Corp. and FV Star One Limited has signed an agreement to acquire Maersk Supply Service Brazil, which provides maritime support services for Maersk Supply in Brazil. The transaction involves transferring Maersk’s local operations and oil and gas support fleet to the consortium.
Numerous international legal advisors and consultants have participated in structuring the transaction. With the agreement, the acquirers have taken a strategic step forward in expanding their presence in the Brazilian maritime support sector. The agreement also aligns with Maersk Supply’s global operational repositioning strategy.
