Mattos Filho advises Qualicorp on Plural/Oxcorp
Mattos Filho Advogados advised Qualicorp Consultoria e Corretora de Seguros and Qualicorp Administradora de Benefícios in an agreement with the minority shareholders of Plural Gestão em Planos de Saúde and Oxcorp Gestão Consultoria e Corretora de Seguros, under which Qualicorp acquired all the equity interests held by those shareholders in the two companies. Following the transaction, Qualicorp now holds, directly and indirectly, 100% of the share capital of both Plural and Oxcorp.
The Mattos Filho team advising Qualicorp Consultoria and Qualicorp Administradora was led by Rodrigo Arthur Egual de Carvalho, partner in São Paulo, together with Pedro Henrique Pires and Ana Carolina Dias Melo, both based in São Paulo.
On the sellers’ side, minority shareholders André Luiz Corbacho Vianna, Sérgio Ricardo Juruena da Costa Braga and Silvio César Mesquita were represented by BMA Advogados, while André Adrien Theodore Bucsan was also among the sellers involved in the transaction.
