Mattos Filho and BMA act on the sale of MCT Mineração to GMIN
BMA advised BHP Group Operations Pty on the sale to G Mining Ventures Corp (GMIN), through its wholly-owned subsidiaries Avanco Resources Pty (Avanco) and Estrela Metals Pty of 100% of the shares in MCT Mineração, currently held by Estrela and 100% of the share capital of ACG Mineração, currently held by Avanco. Mattos Filho advised the buyers.
The targets hold tenements in the Gurupi Gold Belt, including the CentroGold project, which is locate in the state of Maranhão and comprises 47 tenements covering approximately 1.900 km².
In consideration for the acquisition, GMIN will grant the sellers a 1.0% NSR royalty on the first 1 million ounces of gold produced at the tenements and a 1.5% NSR royalty on gold production thereafter.
