Mattos Filho and Machado Meyer advise on Atlas refinancing

Mattos Filho advised Atlas Renewable Energy and its subsidiaries, Machado Meyer advised the lenders in the refinancing of debts, totaling approximately US$ 3 billion (around R$ 15.5 billion).

The transaction involved more than 11 jurisdictions, consolidating itself as the largest corporate refinancing for clean energy projects in Latin America to date.

The refinancing is intended to allow Atlas to enhance its capital structure, obtain more competitive financing conditions across its portfolio, and ensure a solid foundation for the continuous expansion of clean energy infrastructure. The transaction involved a portfolio of high-performing solar generation and storage assets, concentrated in Brazil, Chile, and Mexico, including collateral in Brazil.
