McConnell Valdés adds new tax and IP partner
Puerto Rico law firm McConnell Valdés announced that María Teresa Szendrey-Ramos has joined the partnership.
Szendrey-Ramos regularly advises clients in multiple and complex trademark, copyright, trade secret, moral rights of authors, and right of publicity issues under local and federal law. Her expertise also includes trusts and estates including succession and estate planning for family-owned businesses. She has drafted numerous complex wills and testamentary trusts and has advised Puerto Rico and non-Puerto Rico residents on estate planning.
Prior to joining McConnell Valdés, Szendrey-Ramos helped create and manage the intellectual property law practice group at Fiddler Gonzalez & Rodriguez, a long standing Puerto Rican law firm which closed this month.
