Morimor on DMB’s acquisition of Anschütz subsidiary in Panama
Morgan & Morgan has counselled DMB Dr. Dieter Murmann Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (DMB), in connection with the acquisition of 100% of RAYTHEON ANSCHUETZ PANAMA, as part of DMB’s acquisition of the entire Anschütz Group based in Kiel (Germany) and its international subsidiaries in Panama City (Republic of Panama), Portsmouth (UK), Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai and Singapore.
Other firms participating in the transaction were HEUKING KÜHN LÜER WOJTEK, as international advisor to the buyer; Shearman Sterling, as international advisor to the seller; and Alemán Cordero Galindo & Lee as Panamanian advisor to the seller.
Anschütz is a manufacturer of integrated bridge and mission technology and systems for commercial ship navigation and other maritime sectors, as well as an industrial partner in several national and international maritime research projects.
DMB is a medium-sized diversified industrial group also based in Kiel, Germany. The company stands for competence in the maritime economy and international business, financial strength of a global group and long-term commitment for generations.
