New merger creates Serrano Martínez CMA
After a year of negotiations, Bogotá-based Serrano Martínez and Medellín-based Correa Merino Agudelo announce their merger to create Serrano Martínez CMA, comprising eight partners and a team of between 50 and 60 collaborators.
The new firm will offer legal services in a wide range of areas, including antitrust, corporate, mergers and acquisitions, energy, tax and estate planning, as well as labour, real estate, urban planning, data protection and litigation.
As a result, the partners of this merger are:
- José Plata (pictured top left), expert in energy regulation, public utilities, and competition law;
- Sebastián Correa (pictured top centre, left), expert in tax law and wealth management;
- Darío Ramírez (pictured top centre, right), expert in labour law, social security and labour litigation;
- Ana María Valdivieso (pictured top right), expert in labour law, social security, immigration law and labour litigation;
- Felipe Serrano (pictured bottom left), with expertise in competition law, privacy, commercial litigation and regulatory law;
- Camilo Merino (pictured bottom centre, left), an expert in corporate law and private equity transactions;
- Juan Esteban Agudelo (pictured bottom centre, right), focusing on real estate and urban planning law; and
- Juan Diego Martínez (pictured bottom right), an expert in M&A, corporate law and estate planning.
