Olaechea helps Viña Tacama in brand recognition of Demonio de los Andes

Peruvian law firm Estudio Olaechea has assisted Viña Tacama in obtaining the recognition of Demonio de los Andes as a “well-known trademark” before the Intellectual Property Chamber of INDECOPI.

Thanks to this transaction, Demonio de los Andes now has greater protection than other registered trademarks, a recognition that few other trademarks within the national trademark system enjoy: privileged protection against the principles of registration and territoriality.
