OMSD Advogados announces new partner
Ostronoff, Malagó, Simão e Dimbarre Advogados (OMSD) has announced that Obede Franklin (pictured) has joined the team as a partner in the mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate law and business contracts areas, expanding the firm’s practice.
Born in Fortaleza, Obede has a law degree from the University of São Paulo Law School (USP). Having worked at Pinheiro Neto, Obede leaves Lobo de Rizzo to join the firm’s team, bringing his expertise to meet client demand in these areas.
A specialist in M&A operations, corporate law and business contracts, Obede has a strong track record in complex transactions involving technology companies, having advised a significant number of large national and foreign companies, both in domestic and cross-border operations. He has extensive knowledge in structuring and negotiating transactions involving search funds, with a long history of advising searchers and search funds in their different investment and divestment phases.
