PHR counsels Aligned Data Centers on acquisition of Odata Colombia
Posse Herrera Ruiz has counselled Aligned Data Centers on the acquisition of a 100% stake in Odata Colombia, a data centre services provider.
The transaction, announced in December 2022 and closed on 19 May, positions Aligned Data Centers as one of the largest data centre service providers in the region. Odata also has operations in Brazil and Mexico.
Vinson & Elkins acted as international advisor to Aligned Data Centers, while Brigard Urrutia and Gómez-Pinzón acted as advisors to Patria Investments and Cyrusone in Colombia, respectively.
Vinson & Elkins’ team was led by partner Gabriela Silva, with support from Gabriela Astolphi, Doug Fujimoto Ogata and Gregory Campos.
Brigard Urrutia’s team included partner Tomás Holguín and lawyers Nicolás Alonso and Natalia Castiblanco.
Gómez-Pinzón’s team comprised partner Natalia García Arenas together with lawyers Paola Valderrama and Juan Felipe Saenz Dussán.
