PPU represents Grenergy in financing construction of photovoltaic power plants
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has represented Grenergy Renovables, as sponsor, and two of its owned vehicles, as co-borrowers, in connection with a financing for the construction of two photovoltaic plants located in the Maule Region, Chile (Gran Teno and Tamango) granted by the banks BNP Paribas and Societe Generale.
This transaction, closed on 22 June, involved the Chilean and US jurisdictions. Other participating firms were Clifford Chance, as New York counsel to the co-borrowers; Garrigues, as local counsel to the lenders and the onshore collateral agent; and Milbank, as New York counsel to the lenders.
