Pinheiro Guimarães advises on acquisition of stake in Banco Pine
Pinheiro Guimarães advised the founders of BYX Capital on the acquisition of the 33% stake held by Banco Pine in the company.
The purchase price involves a mix of cash payment of R$100 million and a stake corresponding to 38% of the capital of AmigoZ, a Brazilian fintech company providing accessible payroll-deductible loans (crédito consignado) and cards.
BYX Capital is a Brazilian fintech focused on technology-driven credit solutions, especially for payroll-deductible (consignado) loans, offering a full-stack platform for originators, banks, and investors, handling everything from loan origination, management, and securitization, enabling features like benefit cards and digital credit access for users through associated partners.
Closing of the transaction is subject to certain conditions precedent, including approval by CADE.
