Pinheiro Guimarães advises SPIC Brasil on loans
Deutsche Bank AG, Singapore Branch, extended two external credit facilities to subsidiaries of SPIC Brasil Energia Participações S.A.: approximately CNH1.1 billion (equivalent to approximately BRL805 million) to Marangatu Holding S.A., and approximately CNH300 million (equivalent to approximately BRL215 million) to Panati Holding S.A. The facilities are secured by fiduciary assignment of receivables, fiduciary transfer of equipment, fiduciary transfer of shares, and parent guarantees provided by the controlling shareholders.
