Pinheiro Neto advises Grupo Casas Bahia on debentures issuance
Pinheiro Neto Advogados and Spinelli Advogados advised Grupo Casas Bahia on its 11th issuance of debentures, structured as a public offering in four series, as part of the company’s capital structure transformation plan. Machado Meyer advised the bookrunners Banco Bradesco BBI and UBS BB.
The offering totaled BRL 2.4 billion and included secured, non-convertible debentures and unsecured debentures convertible into shares. The transaction involved the refinancing of the 10th issuance and resulted in a significant reduction of the issuer’s indebtedness and financial expenses.
