Pinheiro Neto assists CDP Groupe in the acquisition of 5 SPVs

Pinheiro Neto Advogados advised Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec on the acquisition of 5 SPVs

 

Pinheiro Neto Advogados advised Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec (directly and through its subsidiary CDP Groupe Infraestructures), which acquired 100% of the capital stock in 5 SPVs, 3 of which were Brazilian, and the other two Peruvian and Uruguayan.

The SPVs are: SPE Santa Maria Transmissora De Energia, SPE Santa Lucia Transmissora De Energia, SPE Transmissora De Energia Linha Verde II, Difebal And Terna Peru.

Closing of the deal is expected to occur in multiple stages, mostly in the second half of 2022, subject to the fulfillment of certain customary conditions.
